PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
FITri members with valid membership for the current year are eligible to participate. Foreign athletes holding the card of their home federation may also participate in the event. Participation with daily membership is allowed.
MAXIMUM TIME
The race has the following maximum times: swimming fraction maximum time 50min, SWIM + BIKE maximum time 2h15min. The athlete arriving after 2h15min in ZC will not be allowed to continue for the RUN fraction. Maximum race time: 3h30min.
ENROLLMENT FEES
- Senior/Master 55 euros PROMO until May 7 (max 50 bibs)
- Senior/Master 60 euros until July 15
- Senior/Master 65 euros until August 15
- Senior/Master 70 euros until Aug. 24
- Under 23 +S1 25 euros until Aug. 24
- Junior euro 15 until Aug. 24
Registration for the GRADO Olympic Triathlon will be open until 11:59 p.m. on August 24, 2026.
FAILURE TO PARTICIPATE
In the event of an athlete’s withdrawal, for any reason, up to 30 days before the competition and upon email communication to gradotriathlon@evodata.it 50% of the registration fee will be refunded or an entry voucher for the next edition will be issued; after this deadline the fee will not be refunded.
RACE CANCELLATION
In case of race cancellation due to major forces the participation fee will not be refunded.
DELIVERY OF RACE PACKETS
The delivery of race packs and envelopes containing Bib and Chip will take place at the Parco delle Rose via Dante, Grado with the following times: FRIDAY, Aug. 28, 5 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.; SATURDAY, Aug. 29, 9:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
CONTROLS AND TIMING
Timing will be carried out by EVODATA with technology based on the use of “chips.” Each participant will be provided with a daily chip, which will be collected upon arrival by the organization’s staff.
AWARDS
Awards will be given to athletes in accordance with the provisions of Race Circular 2026.
Overall and category rankings will be compiled based on the order of arrival and times recorded with the EVODATA timing system and posted on the ENDU portal.
INSURANCE
The event is insured by the organizers policy taken out by FITri and is also covered under UnipolSAI supplementary policy.
IMAGE RIGHTS
The registered athlete of GRADO Olympic Triathlon expressly authorizes the free use of his or her image, personal data together with still or moving images and its dissemination in the press and/or television for present and future dissemination and promotional purposes related to ASD ReAction events and related sports and/or promotional events.
RULES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The current FITri technical regulations apply to all matters not covered in these regulations. ASD ReAction as the organizing society of GRADE Olympic Triathlon disclaims all liability for itself and its employees, for accidents or damage to persons or property, which may occur before, during and after the event or as a result of the event. All competitors must compulsorily observe the rules set by the Highway Code. In the bike and run fractions, the roads will have controlled vehicular traffic. By signing the registration form you declare that you have a regular medical certificate for the performance of competitive activity and:
- That I have read the regulations and accept them in full
- to have the regulatory requirements
- That I am familiar with the characteristics of the event and that I am in a psychophysical condition suitable for participation
- That he/she will comply with the regulations, the directions of the Race Director and the organizing staff
- to consent to the processing of their personal data by those involved in the organization of the event, in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree. 196/03 as amended
- to allow the use of photographs, filmed images, recordings, resulting from their participation in the event for any legitimate purpose, including advertising
- to waive any and all liability or recourse claims against the organizing company, its partners or suppliers, personnel employed in any capacity with the organization, sponsors and patrons, arising from their participation in the event and its side events.
The GRADO Olympic Triathlon competition will be held according to the rules contained in the FITri Technical Regulations .
